Taking a metro station and tunnels adjacent to it as the main target,the paper mainly analysed the situations when fire happens using the software of computational fluid dynamics (CRD) - FLUENT,and summarized the characteristics of fires in metro according to domestic and overseas relevant research results.According to these characteristics and the actural situation of the fire alarm system of Shanghai Metro Line No.9,it detailed analysed how to organicly combine the joint of personnel and equipments for personnel's safe withdrawal and puting out fire in time,and defined the corresponding strategy of joint control to fires in different places,to provide a basis for joint control system.
