Recently our school has set aside some time for students to watch The Daily News Broadcasting.

Some people approve of the idea, and they think it is a good way to relax after a day’s hard work. Besides, they can also take advantage of the chance to know what is happening at home and abroad.

However, others are strongly against it. They say they bear so heavy a learning load that they can’t spare any time for TV. Therefore, they think it is a waste of time.

As for me, I’m in favor of the idea. Being buried in books all day does harm to us students both physically and mentally. By watching TV, we can have access to the information that cannot be obtained from books and help us to communicate and understand each other better.
