Since then many health campaigns have taken the advice.Then a study of 500 000 Europeans from 10 different countries showed that up to 50% of cancers could be prevented by eating fruit and vegetables. However the new study which is led by researchers from a famous New York medical school says that only 2 . 5% of cancers could be prevented by eating more fruit and vegetables. It seems that the key to avoiding cancers is to have a balanced healthy lifestyle which includes not smoking or drinking a lot of wine taking exercise and taking less fat.
