My name is Li Ming. I am a middle school student. I go to school on foot every day. I always remember to turn off the lights, the TV and the fans when I leave the classroom. When I am not using water, I always turn off the tap. I often reuse water, for example, when I finish washing the clothes, I use the water to clean the floor and water flowers. I never use plastic bags. I think saving paper is necessary, so I often make full use of paper. It’s important for us to live a low-carbon life to protect the environment.

In the past, there was only a small playground. The books in the library were old and there were only a few kinds of them. The number of the trees and flowers were small.
But things have greatly changed these years. Now we have a bigger playground and more basketball courts. More different kings of new books can be lent to us. Our school is as beautiful as a garden with lots of green trees all year round.
I think it’s lucky of us to have such good studying environment. We will work harder and serve the people better in the future.

In my spare time I often go to the library to find something to read. This makes my teacher very angry. To him, good marks are everything and I should spend more time on my lessons, even at weekends. I think healthy hobbies are helpful for our studies. If I can achieve a balance between my schoolwork and my hobby, it will be of great value to my future development. I used to be very proud as a student of our school, but now I have to leave this beautiful school camp. We learned a lot during these three years and we have made great progress. The teaching of our teachers is lively and interesting. We will never forget the colourful activities in our school, especially the charity show which we organized for the people in Yushu after the great earthquake. We'll remember our teachers' education. Studying abroad may have a lot of advantages. The students usually become fluent in the language and can make friends with people from different backgrounds and they learn to depend on themselves. Of course, studying abroad may have its disadvantages as well. It is possible that some of them may fall behind in their studies. On the other hand, some students may feel it unsafe to stay abroad on their own. Moreover, their parents may be concerned about the cost. In my opinion, middle school students had better finish their college education in China and then go abroad to experience another education and culture. (6) Recently I made a survey about the purposes of getting on the Internet in my class. There are fifty students in my class. The girls' favorite is chatting, but few boys like it. Boys like playing games best and girls also like it, with 40% of the boys and 25% of the girls. Both boys and girls like reading news or sending e-mails on the Internet. As for studying, the numbers of the boys and girls are the same, though only several of them will use the Internet as a tool to study. Now the Internet is playing a more and more important part in our life, so we should know what to do to make good use of it. (7) Boys and girls, We high school students do have some growing pains, but we can keep away from them wisely. First, some of us are unhappy about their appearances and shapes. We needn't care about them too much Instead, we need to do more reading to improve our inner beauty. Second, sometimes we feel very worried because our teachers, parents and classmates can't understand us, and some make complaints about having fewer friends. As to this, we can suggest having a heart-to-heart talk with them if that happens. Also, we can be open and friendly to each other. To some, the third worry is that we may fall behind others and as a result we feel stressed. I think, if we learn to encourage ourselves and set a proper goal, we can feel relaxed and confident.
