Nowadays more and more Chinese people realize English plays a very important role in everyday life and work so many parents would like their children to start learning English at an early age ． They think learning foreign languages is beneficial to children’s intellectual development ．
Despite these advantages I am still against babies learning English ． I am worried that they may mix the Chinese pinyin with English letters ． Besides if they start learning too early it may make them ignore how important our mother tongue is ．
